These are all approximately 18″x24″ and a variety of mixed media: collage, tempera paint, charcoal and/or pastel drawn and painted on paper. They are all available unless otherwise noted.

With this work I entered a new phase of abstraction. They are done very quickly and intuitively, in this respect they are often carry a freer feel when doing them and are more effective for thought suspension. They often employ gesture, movement, line sensitivity and emotion. All are primarily charcoal, though chalk pastel sometimes entered the picture. Process notes on some of this work can be found here.
These are all 18″x24″, mixed media charcoal and/or pastel. Please check for availability and inquire with monique@sevenans.com with interest. S/H $10 within the US – International available as well. All drawings drawn on newsprint or standard drawing paper in charcoal, with the exception of some wax conte crayon. These have yellowed just a bit over time, however, the yellowishness has been photo manipulated. [click thumbnail to see larger view of work]
